The Repair Process
Every pallet that enters our repair line goes through a meticulous multi-step process. Here is exactly how we turn damaged pallets into like-new products.
Damage Assessment
Each pallet is visually inspected and scored on a 10-point damage scale. Technicians document broken boards, split stringers, protruding nails, and structural weaknesses.
Disassembly
Damaged components are carefully removed using pry bars and pneumatic tools. Reusable hardware is separated for recycling. Sound boards are set aside for other repairs.
Board Selection
Replacement boards are selected from our graded lumber inventory. Each board is checked for moisture content, knots, splits, and dimensional accuracy before use.
Fastening
New boards are secured using ring-shank nails driven by pneumatic nail guns. Nail patterns follow NWPCA specifications for maximum holding power and load distribution.
Quality Check
Finished pallets undergo a final inspection: visual check, dimensional measurement, and manual flex test. Any pallet that does not meet grade specifications goes back for rework.
Grading & Staging
Approved pallets receive their grade stamp, barcode label, and are moved to finished inventory staging for dispatch. The entire process takes an average of 8 minutes per pallet.

Our Environmental Footprint
Every pallet we recycle, repair, or resell has a measurable positive impact on the environment. Here is the cumulative story of our sustainability efforts.
Pallets Recycled Annually
Each recycled pallet saves approximately 3.5 board feet of new lumber from being harvested.
Equivalent to saving 24,000 trees per year
Wood Diverted from Landfill
Instead of decomposing in landfills and releasing methane, this wood stays in productive use through our circular economy model.
Equivalent to 960 dump truck loads
CO2 Emissions Prevented
By reusing pallets instead of manufacturing new ones, we eliminate the carbon footprint of harvesting, milling, and transporting raw lumber.
Equivalent to taking 695 cars off the road
Fuel Saved Through Route Optimization
Our GPS-guided route planning reduces unnecessary driving miles, cutting fuel consumption across our fleet significantly.
Equivalent to 240 fewer cross-country trips
Landfill Diversion Rate
Of all materials that enter our facility, 95.2% are reused, recycled, or repurposed. Only 4.8% ends up as waste, and we are working to close that gap.
On track for TRUE Zero Waste certification
Solar Energy Capacity
Our rooftop solar installation offsets 40% of our facility's electricity consumption, reducing grid dependence and utility costs.
85 tons of CO2 offset annually
Our Sustainability Pledge
By 2028, we are committed to achieving a 98% landfill diversion rate, powering 100% of our facility operations with renewable energy, and transitioning 50% of our fleet to alternative fuel vehicles. Every project in this gallery represents a step toward that goal.
Wood Species & Materials
Understanding the wood behind your pallets matters for load capacity, moisture resistance, and compliance. Here is a guide to the species and materials we work with daily.
Southern Yellow Pine (SYP)
65% of our inventoryThe workhorse of the pallet industry. SYP offers excellent nail-holding capacity, high strength-to-weight ratio, and wide availability across the Southeast. It accepts heat treatment well and is the standard for GMA pallets.
Oak (Red & White)
18% of our inventoryDenser and heavier than pine, oak pallets are preferred for heavy-duty applications including concrete products, automotive parts, and steel coils. White oak offers superior moisture resistance for outdoor storage.
Mixed Hardwoods
12% of our inventoryA blend of regionally available hardwood species including maple, poplar, and ash. Mixed hardwood pallets offer a cost-effective balance of durability and weight, suitable for most general warehousing applications.
Spruce-Pine-Fir (SPF)
3% of our inventoryLightweight softwood group common in pallets arriving from northern states and Canada. SPF pallets are lighter to handle and ship but have lower load capacity than SYP. Ideal for lighter-weight goods.
Recycled Lumber Stock
Repair materialUsable boards salvaged from dismantled pallets that do not meet structural standards as complete units. This reclaimed lumber is sorted by species, dimensions, and condition before being used in our repair operations.
Wood Chips & Biomass
ByproductWood that cannot be reused in pallet form is processed into mulch-grade wood chips, landscaping material, or biomass fuel pellets. Nothing goes to waste. Our zero-landfill commitment means every piece of wood finds a second use.
Quality Standards Visual Guide
Every pallet we sell is graded to NWPCA standards with additional internal quality benchmarks. Here is what each grade means so you can choose the right product for your application.
Grade A
Premium / Like-New
Structurally sound with no broken or missing boards. All stringers intact and undamaged. Minimal cosmetic wear. No protruding nails. Suitable for all applications including export, food-grade, and automated systems.
Grade B
Standard / Good Condition
Structurally sound with minor cosmetic defects. May have slight discoloration, one repaired board, or minor surface wear. All boards and stringers fully functional. No structural compromise.
Grade C
Economy / Functional
Multiple cosmetic defects but structurally adequate for lighter loads. May have repaired stringers, replaced boards, or visible weathering. All components are functionally intact and load-tested.
Custom / Specialty
Built to Specification
Pallets built or modified to exact customer dimensions, load requirements, and material specifications. Includes oversized pallets, heavy-duty reinforced units, heat-treated export pallets, and non-standard configurations.
Our Grading Advantage
Multi-Point Inspection
Every pallet undergoes a 12-point inspection covering board integrity, stringer condition, nail placement, dimensional accuracy, moisture content, and overall structural soundness. Nothing ships without passing every check.
Optical Scanning Assist
Our camera-based sorting system supplements human inspectors by measuring dimensions and flagging defects that may be difficult to spot visually. This dual approach achieves 99.2% grading accuracy across all stock.
Load Testing Verification
Random samples from every batch are tested on our hydraulic press to verify load-bearing capacity matches the grade classification. We test both static and dynamic loads to simulate real warehouse conditions.
